ta-ka-tin-go-ba-kin is presented in four percussion staves for non-pitched percussion. Flexibility in the choice of instruments is encouraged. However, the fourth stave provides an important time-line function. Ideally, a double cowbell (gankokwe) should provide an anchor throughout epecially in the soloing sections. The ‘open’ scoring encourages the choice of a variety of membranophones using paired sticks, stick and hand, or hands (sogo, kaganu, djembe, congas, bongos, bodhran, darabuka, gaval, bendir, changgo, davul, surdo and cuica); and idiophones such as shakers and rattles. c.8-10 mins ISMN 9790720101
