Clarinet in Bb, violoncello and piano,  c.10'00 

Inspired by recordings made in the 1960s in Sherbrooke Forest near Melbourne, of a lyrebird’s distinctive territorial and courtship calls, The recordings provided the starting point for much of the melodic, rhythmic and structural elements of the work.
