The music is gentle and a bit mystical, enhanced by generous amounts of sustaining pedal from the piano - the piece is an exercise in performing expressively with uncomplicated note patterns, much the same way in which Japanese and Chinese paintings concentrate on achieving expression without too many brushstrokes.  Composed 2018
