This arrangement is taken from the composers's Violin Concerto and appears in a new key and a very slow temp. In performance the work should be played very expressively and with lots of time to linger on the melody and harmonies  -  in fact, to be played as the title suggests  -  slowly, expressively and yet with an underlying swing.  Composed 2010.
