Part of the Osanna Mass which is based on the set of plainchants for the Mass, Kyriale IX in the Liber Usualis. The music, like the text, has a three-part structure, although the text is heard more than three times. The Mass won the Australian Art Music award for vocal/choral composition in 2012. The Osanna Mass was written for the Sydney Chamber Choir, conducted by Paul Stanhope and recorded by Tall Poppies (TP219). Audio sample from the CD Osanna, used with permission.
