Violin and piano, c.5'40. 7th gradeThis piece is written in the spirit of variations, but does not adhere strictly to that form. The main theme is a Mongolian folk song, Gada Meiren. Gada Meiren led a revolt around the 1930’s, protesting against the sale of Mongolian land. The uprising was unsuccessful, but nevertheless Gada Meiren is regarded as the national hero of Inner Mongolia. Composed 2017.
