Marcus Roberts

As a multi-instrumentalist musician, Marcus Roberts primarily studied classical guitar between 1994-2000 at Edith Cowan University and University of Western Australia and has qualified with A.Mus.A, L.Mus.A, MusB(hons) Dip Ed, DPA, TAE4110.

Over his career Marcus has composed music for many ensembles and released several albums in the classical progressive rock genre. Over the past 20years he has regularly performed in the Perth music scene.

Marcus is currently the Head of Music at a Perth Hills school. In this position he regularly composes music for students, both solo classical guitar and guitar ensembles. His music is often shared with IMSS (the Department of Education music branch) where the ensemble pieces and solo works are played.
