A Grimmolow is a friendly, creative, happy and innovative monster with inordinately long legs, who resides in a wooden cottage in the South Polar region. The basic structure of the work is ABCAB, with a short introduction framing different sections. While intended as a fun piece, this work poses significant technical challenges: crushed notes in the middle of fast runs, crushed notes in chords that jump around, and rapid staccato chords and double notes.   Composed 2020.
