The Linden String Quartet

The Linden String Quartet formed at first in 2004 as The Linden String Trio with violinist, Marina Marsden(Principal 2nd Violinist, Sydney Symphony), Justine Marsden (violist, Sydney Symphony) and Timothy Nankervis(cellist, Sydney Symphony). The Trio performed for ABC Classic FM’s Sunday Live series, the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, St James Church Lunchtime series and Sydney Mozart Society, often appearing with well-known pianist, Clemens Leske. Since its formation, the Trio has been joined by Sydney Symphony cellist, Elizabeth Neville as well as Guest Artists cellists, Fenella Gill and Christopher Pidcock, violinists Sophie ColeMarianne Broadfoot and Emily Long and violists Anne-Louise Comerford, Jane Hazelwood and Rosemary Curtin (all members of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra) and has performed in various augmented combinations such as string quintets and sextets, often for Sydney Symphony Chamber Players engagements.
