This is the second piece in “The Adventures of the Baroque Bear”, a slower work which allows for the deep and serious contemplation that the Baroque Bear sometimes engages in. Although the mood remains nostalgic, with more than a hint of melancholy, there are passages containing an interplay of the intervals of thirds and sixths which temporarily elevate the mood.
