Forest Fantasia

Forest Fantasia is inspired by the majesty and beauty of ancient forests such as the Otways and the human experience of being in such a magical environment. The music depicts dawn in the forest with the first rays of sunlight emerging through the trees, birds in flight, waterfalls and a human perspective of wonder and inspiration.

Commissioned by Australian oboist Anne Gilby for her recital at the International Double Reed Society 2023 conference in Thailand
