The Night’s Lullaby, as the name suggests, is what I now call a tone poem that depicts the night sky, sparkling with stellar brilliance, illuminated by the silvery full moon, overlooking a brook that winds through a clearing bordered by a pine forest. The moon appears after the sun's last light fades, rising above the forest, awakening the night creatures. As the moon reaches its zenith, its light becomes blocked by dark, foreboding clouds. The clearing is shrouded in darkness, with small pockets of moon rays piercing the dark clouds. Finally, the clouds burst open, and the night sky returns to its celestial brightness, while streaking comets pass by. The moon slowly creeps down to the other side of the horizon, the stars dim and fade, until at last the first light of dawn creeps forth in the ease
