The three movements, Toccata; Elegia; Furioso, are evocations of three representative forms from three musical periods: the prelude of the Baroque, incorporating pedal tones and improvisatory or rhapsodic passages; the slow movement of the Classical period, and the wild temperamental freedom of certain works from the Romantic period.
Recorded on Skins (Wirr 038) and "Celebrating May" (Wirr 058) by Jeanell Carrigan available online
