This delightful work for violin and piano was published by  in 2016. This version has been reedited as several discrepancies were found when the recording was made. There is unfortunately no composition date, and it is very difficult to ascertain exactly when it could have been composed as it belongs neither to the atmospheric works which seemed to be composed later or the early works as many of the songs. Serenade is in ternary form and characterised by an interplay of melodies between the two instruments.
