A Festival Divertimento, based on traditional Australian melodies for Orchestra, c.9'00.

Written at the request of the Prime Minister and Cabinet of the Commonwealth of Australia for the opening of the new Parliament House, Canberra, 9th May 1988.  Dedicated to Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. The first performance was given in the Great Hall, Parliament House by the Australian Youth Orchestra, John Hopkins, conductor.
