This composition is featured in Sofia’s play The Four Accordionists of the Apocalypse. At this point of the story, accordionist Vita Bellows has lost her accordion and is devastated, hence the dry, desolate sound of this composition, which develops into a kind of arrhythmia and wistful hope before succumbing again to despair.
