Wilson’s Inlet artistically captures environmental inspirations in the arrangement and composition such a Pelicans and birds in flight across the inlet and water birds in mud (Pizzicato sections) and the rustling of the wind in the bushes in the shimmering tremolo sections. There are several program markers throughout the piece.  Wilson's Inlet is located in Western Australia.
